Angels have their wings again.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returns Tuesday night in New York City after a five-year hiatus.

The annual runway show, which debuted in 1995, was canceled in 2019 amid a series of scandals and backlash from critics who slammed the underwear brand for a lack of diversity and inclusion.

Edward Razek, the former chief marketing officer of former Victoria’s Secret parent company L Brands, who stepped down in 2019, sparked controversy in an interview with Vogue when he dismissed ideas of integrating inclusion into the runway show “because the show is a fantasy”.

He was later accused of harassment and perpetuating a “culture of misogyny, bullying and harassment” at the company.

In May, Victoria’s Secret announced that the runway show was returning and “will reflect who we are today.”

“We read the reviews and we heard you,” the brand said, adding that this year’s show will include “glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment and more!”

The show will take place at the Victoria’s Secret flagship store in NYC on Tuesday, October. 15.

How can I watch the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?

It airs at 7pm EST on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Live, as well as the brand’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok pages.

The pink carpet pre-show, hosted by Tefi Pessoa and Olivia Culpo, starts at 6:30pm EST.

Victoria’s Secret is also hosting a watch party in the Penn District for fans.

Which models are returning to the 2024 Victoria’s Secret runway show?

There are many famous Victoria’s Secret “Angels” attending this year’s show, including Adriana Lima, Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham, Barbara Palvin, Behati Prinsloo, Imaan Hammam, Jasmine Tookes, Paloma Elsesser, Candice Swanepoel , Devyn Garcia and Tay Hill.

Lima, 43, has been in the most runway shows of any model, with 18 appearances in total before tonight’s show.

The Brazilian model, who retired from Victoria’s Secret in 2018, confirmed her return to the runway in an Instagram video where she gets into a taxi and tells the driver: “I’m going home.”

Heidi Klum is not expected to walk in the event this year.

Cher is headlining the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

“It’s a woman’s world, so of course you can’t have a runway show without the mother of fashion herself — @Cher! the brand wrote on Instagram in September. “We are very excited to announce that she will officially perform at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15.”

K-pop star Lisa and singer Tyla are also performing at this year’s show.

“Growing up, I was mesmerized by the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — the stunning outfits, the iconic arms and the charismatic models,” Tyla, 22, said in a statement last month.

“Now, I am excited to perform on this nostalgic and legendary stage. What’s even more exciting is the celebration of diversity, showcasing a wider range of beauty, which makes this moment truly special,” she added.
