Anti-aging zealot Bryan Johnson flaunts his ‘liquid gold’ plasma as he unveils new blood exchange therapy

Anti-ageing fanatic Bryan Johnson boasted that his plasma is so pure that medical staff “couldn’t throw it away” as the tech mogul revealed a new procedure he is using to remove toxins from his body.

Johnson, 47, who pours $2 million a year into his quest for eternal youth, said Monday that he underwent a total plasma exchange that would take that fluid from his body and replace it with albumin pure, a protein found in a person’s blood plasma.

He noted that the process is different from when he exchanged blood with his teenage son, who he oddly called “blood boy,” last year. Blood exchange was said to have no real benefits.

“TPE removes all the plasma from my body and replaces it with albumin,” Johnson wrote on social media.

“The goals of therapy are to remove toxins from my body. The tests are urgent.”

The exchange involves the patient’s blood being passed through a machine where the filtered plasma is removed by reinfusion of red blood cells, in addition to a replacement fluid such as plasma or albumin, according to the National Institutes of Health.

Johnson, who made his massive fortune in his 30s when he sold his payment processing company to eBay, said he completed a series of baseline measurements before proceeding with the therapy, which will include six general treatments. .

He then claimed that the operator of the procedure, who has been doing total plasma exchange for nine years, marveled that his plasma was “the cleanest he had ever seen. Until now.”

“He can’t get over it,” Johnson said of the operator. “When we finished, he couldn’t put it down. He was imagining all the good he could do in the world.”

He then said that it is possible that his plasma could be auctioned off or donated after the next procedure.

“Liquid gold”, he called it.

Johnson has become a prominent face of the anti-aging movement, using his money to follow an incredibly strict routine overseen by a team of doctors that includes daily exercise, a vegan diet and ingesting more than 100 daily supplements.
